As the environment in which Medical Affairs operates continues to evolve, bringing new opportunities and complexities, the need for innovation and leadership in Medical Affairs has never been greater.
The MAPS EMEA 2022 Annual Meeting welcomed over 250 Medical Affairs professionals to Paris, France, where a 2-day program created a forum to share best practice, provide and generate actionable insights, and further develop the roles and capabilities of Medical Affairs teams.
A series of interactive workshops, plenaries, and roundtables allowed information sharing and in-depth discussion around the latest thinking on patient and medical expert engagement, real-world evidence, and the shift towards the virtual world for traditional and new communications channels. There was time dedicated to core Medical Affairs skills that still underpin communications, including planning, storytelling, and articulating data effectively. Additionally, with an eye on the near future, the evolution of the strategic role of Medical Affairs and related functions within the biopharmaceutical and MedTech industries was explored and debated.
The welcoming and inclusive environment encouraged delegates to fully participate in enlightening discussions, ask questions, and learn from peers, as well as taking inspiration from exhibitors and affiliated organizations.
Delegates left empowered with key learnings and tools to inspire and innovate within their own wider teams.
